Identification of chromatin loops and TADs at the representative Pax6 locus. Loops and TADs at the Pax6 locus (1.4 Mb DNA region of the chromosome 2) show markedly different chromatin interactions in ES compared to both lens cells. (a) The Pax6 locus within the larger WAGR region in ES cells shows long-range chromatin looping between the Pax6 and Wt1 loci while very limited activity within the Pax6 locus. Chromatin looping patterns within the Pax6 locus are mostly shared between (b) lens epithelium and (c) lens fiber cells. Contact interactions are binned at 10 kb resolution
