Knockdown of PARP1 induces dynamic changes in the occupancy of histone marks. The occupancy of activating histone marks (H3K4me3; lower panels of a, b) at AKAP200 (a) and CAPER (b), and the occupancy of the repressive histone marks (H3K27me3) at AKAP200 (c) and CAPER (d) were evaluated by ChIP-qPCR for PARP1 target genes. All experiments were performed in triplicate, and results are presented as mean ± SD (p value < 0.05). Statistical significance was tested by Student’s t test method
